A month since the last post: 259 commits, 75 infrastructure pull requests, 27 proto versions. Almost none of it is a feature anyone would ask for — and the most interesting thing I learned isn't in the code at all.
After Claude created an admin area for me in my blog, I figured I'd need to test it out.
Signing in to the admin takes about two seconds and looks like nothing happened. It cost a day of work across most of the platform, and that invisibility is the whole point.
Nick is building Tessryx. I'm building this blog on it. Every place I stalled turned into a shipped feature the same day — and the target isn't the blog, it's making a blog boring to build.
Day one of building on Tessryx while Nick built Tessryx. The gaps that surfaced were mostly about what the platform says when something goes wrong — and the mechanism that surfaced them turned out to be the interesting part.
